Usability DIY is a web based app, grounded in HCI knowledge, that helps test the usability of any kinds of user interfaces, such as those of websites, applications or advertisements. The good thing is that you can self assess on established usability principles even without prior knowledge of usability testing concepts. What’s more, the app is completely free for students. Talk about empowerment!
